اظهر المزيد [+] اقل [-]Se presenta una metodología para la estimación rápida del carbono almacenado en la biomasa de árboles y palmas >10 cm dap, árboles <10 cm y vegetación herbácea en cuatro usos del suelo en fincas de Talamanca indígena, Costa Rica. Los usos del suelo incluyen sistemas agroforestales con cacao o con banano, platanales y charrales. Se demuestra la aplicación de la metodología con un ejemplo de cacaotales con árboles.
اظهر المزيد [+] اقل [-]We present a methodology to rapidly estimate carbon stored in the biomass of trees and palms with trunks greater than 10 cm in diameter, trees with a diameter of less than 10 cm and in herbaceous vegetation in four land-use systems on indigenous farms of Talamanca, Costa Rica. The land uses included agroforestry systems with cacao or with banana, plantain plantations and fallows. The application of the methodology was demonstrated using trees in cacao plantations.
