Esta investigación busca recopilar el estado actual y usos del agua del Embalse del Neusa; partiendo de su papel en el abastecimiento de agua potable a la población por medio del acueducto regional de Zipaquirá, además de la regulación de caudal y los fines ecoturísticos del ecosistema los cuales son claves en la región, para ello se hace necesario, que el estudio compile, desde aspectos físicos, biológicos, hasta sociales del Embalse del Neusa en su conjunto, en un periodo de tiempo considerable; que depende de las diferentes fuentes bibliográficas encontradas, permitiendo de esta manera identificar las variaciones que ha sufrido el ecosistema. La investigación permite tanto a los municipios donde se encuentra ubicado el embalse geográficamente, como a los que se les suministra el recurso hídrico, el beneficio de contar con información vigente y actualizada de la situación del embalse y los escenarios en donde este tenga algún tipo de incidencia, para ello es preciso que el tecnólogo en Gestión Ambiental y servicios públicos haciendo uso de los conocimientos previos adquiridos , tenga una amplia perspectiva y una visión clara y concisa del rol que juegan los ecosistemas, como el Embalse del Neusa en el territorio .

This investigation seeks to compile the current condition and uses of the water of the Reservoir of the Neusa; departing from his paper in the supply of drinkable water to the population by means of Zipaquirá's regional aqueduct, besides the regulation of flow and the ends ecoturísticos from the ecosystem which are key in the region, for it it becomes necessary, that the study compiles, from physical, biological aspects, up to social of the Reservoir of the Neusa in his set, in a considerable period of time; that depends on the different bibliographical opposing sources, allowing to identify hereby the variations that the ecosystem has suffered. The investigation allows so much to the municipalities where the reservoir is located geographically, like which the water resource, the benefit is supplied of possessing information in force and updated of the situation of the reservoir and the scenes where this one should have some type of incident, for it it is necessary that the technologist in Environmental Management and public services using the previous acquired knowledge, have a wide perspective and a clear and concise vision of the role that play the ecosystems, as the Reservoir of the Neusa in the territory .
