Fortalecimiento del componente ambiental de la Terminal de Transporte S.A a través del apoyo a las actividades de control ambiental y el establecimiento de un proyecto de investigación encaminado a optimizar el Plan Institucional de Gestión Ambiental | Strengthening the environmental component of Terminal de Transporte S.A. through support for environmental control activities and the establishment of a research project aimed at optimizing the Institutional Environmental Management Plan

Este informe de proyecto de grado desarrollado en modalidad pasantías, tiene como objeto dar a conocer las actividades realizadas en el proceso de apoyo del componente ambiental de la Terminal de Transporte S.A - Subgerencia de Planeación y proyectos, respecto a lo establecido en el Plan Institucional de Gestión Ambiental (PIGA). El PIGA es el instrumento de planeación que parte del análisis de la situación ambiental institucional, con el propósito de brindar información y argumentos necesarios para el planteamiento de acciones de gestión ambiental que garanticen primordialmente el cumplimiento de los objetivos de ecoeficiencia establecidos en el Decreto 456 de 2008, entre otras acciones ambientales que contemplen las entidades y aporten a la totalidad de los objetivos ambientales establecidos en el PGA (Ministerio de Hacienda, n.d.). La Terminal de Transporte, dentro de su PIGA contempla objetivos de ecoeficiencia, calidad ambiental y optimización en el uso de recursos, que tienen como propósito lograr el desarrollo de programas que conduzcan a la organización a ahorrar, ser eficiente, y equitativa ambientalmente en cada una de las actividades que en ella se realizan, para prestar, tanto al transportador, comerciantes, ciudadanos y trabajadores, un servicio basado no sólo en estándares de calidad, sino también de responsabilidad ambiental y social (Terminal de Transporte S.A, 2020). La Terminal de Transporte S.A, cuenta con 3 sedes (Norte, Salitre y Sur), en las cuales se implementa el PIGA con actividades como: -Mediciones para el monitoreo de la calidad del agua potable, - Inspecciones periódicas por parte del componente ambiental para hacer seguimiento de los requerimientos establecidos en las visitas de Sanidad Portuaria, - Seguimiento al Plan de Gestión Integral de Residuos Sólidos respecto a la adecuada recolección en el desarrollo de la ruta sanitaria y su disposición final, garantizando la recolección de residuos aprovechables por parte de las asociaciones con las que La Terminal tiene convenio en cada una de las sedes y el registro de Biciuarios en las tres sedes en el marco de la promoción de la movilidad sostenible. Las actividades mencionadas, además de otras actividades que se desarrollan por sede, como por ejemplo el seguimiento a la PTAR (Planta de Tratamiento de Agua Residual) en la sede el Salitre, hacen parte de las responsabilidades impartidas, que se ejecutaron en el periodo de 6 meses según lo acordado entre las partes involucradas.

The purpose of this internship project report is to present the activities carried out in the support process of the environmental component of the Terminal de Transporte S.A. - Submanagement of Planning and Projects, with respect to what is established in the Institutional Environmental Management Plan (PIGA). The PIGA is the planning instrument that starts from the analysis of the institutional environmental situation, with the purpose of providing information and arguments necessary for the approach of environmental management actions that primarily guarantee compliance with the eco-efficiency objectives established in Decree 456 of 2008, among other environmental actions contemplated by the entities and contribute to the totality of the environmental objectives established in the EMP (Ministry of Finance, n.d.). The Transport Terminal, within its PIGA, contemplates eco efficiency, environmental quality and optimization objectives in the use of resources, which aim to achieve the development of programs that lead the Terminal de Transporte S.A. to save, be efficient, effective and environmentally equitable in each of the activities carried out in it, to provide, both to the transporter, traders, citizens and workers, a service based not only on quality standards, but also on environmental and social responsibility (Terminal de Transporte S.A, 2020). Terminal de Transporte S.A, has 3 headquarters (North, Salitre and South), in which the PIGA is implemented with activities such as: -Measurements for monitoring the quality of drinking water, - Periodic inspections by the environmental component to follow up on the requirements established in the Port Health visits, - Follow-up on the Integrated Solid Waste Management Plan regarding the proper collection in the development of the sanitary route and its final disposal, ensuring the collection of usable waste by the associations with which The Terminal has an agreement in each of the venues and the registration of Biciuarios in the three venues in the framework of the promotion of sustainable mobility. The activities, in addition to other activities carried out at each site, such as the monitoring of the PTAR (Wastewater Treatment Plant) at the El Salitre site, are part of the responsibilities assigned, which were executed in the 6-month period as agreed between the parties involved.
