Diseño de la fase de planificación de un sistema de gestión ambiental en la curtiembre Gilbert del 2016 | Design of the planning phase of an environmental management system in the Gilbert tannery of 2016

El presente trabajo se realizó en la Curtiembre Gilbert, ubicada en el barrio San Benito, en la localidad de Tunjuelito en Bogotá, con la colaboración de la gerencia y sus empleados, el propósito principal consistió en realizar el diseño de la fase de planificación de un Sistema de Gestión Ambiental (SGA) basado en la Norma Técnica ISO 14001, principalmente en el ítem 4.3. Para su elaboración fue necesario la realización de un diagnóstico ambiental de la organización, posterior a esto la identificación de los aspectos e impactos ambientales que se generan dentro de la misma y por último establecer los programas y proyectos de gestión ambiental que den razón de la política ambiental, metas y objetivos que surgen como propuesta para mitigar y controlar los impactos ambientales negativos encontrados. Esto permitirá que la organización obtenga un mejor desempeño frente al medio ambiente y la sociedad ya que ayudaría a que sus actividades y procesos generen menos contaminación fundamentalmente la prevención y la minimización de los efectos sobre el entorno, en este caso el Río Tunjuelito.

The present work was carried out in the Curtiembre Gilbert, located in the San Benito neighborhood, in the town of Tunjuelito in Bogotá, with the collaboration of management and them employees, the main purpose was to design the planning phase of a Environmental Management System (EMS) based on the ISO 14001 Technical Standard, mainly in item 4.3. For its elaboration it was necessary to carry out an environmental diagnosis of the organization, after this the identification of the environmental aspects and impacts that are generated within the same and finally establish the programs and projects of environmental management that give reason of the policy environmental, goals and objectives that arise as a proposal to mitigate and control the negative environmental impacts found. This will allow the organization to obtain a better performance against the environment and society as it would help to ensure that its activities and processes generate less pollution, fundamentally the prevention and minimization of the effects on the environment, in this case the Tunjuelito River.
