Gaeolaelaps dailingensis and Hypoaspis longichaetus are redescribed on the basis of adults, collected from the ant – Lasius flavus Fabricius (Formicidae) and associated from moss, respectively, in the Far East of Russia, close to type localities in China (Tongyu, Jilin province; and Dailing, Yichun, Heilongjiang province). Gaeolaelaps dailingensis and Hypoaspis longichaetus fit relatively well the current concept of the genus Gaeolaelaps Evans and Till, except some characters for Hypoaspis longichaetus (e.g. corniculi short, internal malae with median and lateral projections coarsely fringed, post-anal seta almost twice as long as paranal setae, epistome and chelicera with reduced denticulation). The male of Hypoaspis longichaetus is described for the first time.
