Crop Response to Calcium Polyphosphate Glass and Some of Its Degradation Products
1962
Terman, G. L. | DeMent, J. D.
SynopsisCalcium polyphosphate glass and certain reaction products of ammonia and partially hydrolyzed glass were less available for early growth of crops grown in greenhouse pots than concentrated superphosphate. Granular, partially hydrolyzed calcium polyphosphate (14 to 18% of its phosphorus water soluble) was as effective for oats as ammoniated concentrated superphosphate having a much higher proportion of watersoluble phosphorus.
