In a long-term nutrient supply trial some essential micro nutrients (Fe, Cu, Zn, Mn) and toxic elements (Cd, Pb, Sr, Co) were studied in the 0-20 cm soil layer. Soil samples were taken in the 35th year of the experiment from the most important fertilization treatments in four replications. Soil samples were analyzed according to Lakanen-Ervio method (AAAc + EDTA) by ICP. The long-term trial had two different cropping patterns as well, thus samples were taken from the rotations as follows: 1. corn-corn-winter wheat-winter wheat, 2. corn-spring barley-pea-winter wheat. These two crop sequences were analyzed separately. Within the fertilization treatments various levels of N-P-K and FYM were also there. The results show that fertilization treatments had different effect on these micro nutrients and toxic elements of the soil compared to the control. In some cases, e.g., for Cu, Cr, Cd there was no significant difference in the AAAc + EDTA soluble content but in most cases, e.g., for Fe, Mn and Sr the difference was significant.
