The content of pectic substances (soluble pectins and fractions of protopectins in field pea (Pisum arvense L.) leaves during vegetation in field conditions were determined. The influence of linuron (Afalon) and different mineral fertilization on the content of various fractions of pectic substances and rate of protopectins methylation was investigated.
