The corms of gladiolus (Gladiolus grandiflorus L.) cv. American Beauty” inoculated with Azotobacter + Phosphate Solubilizing Bacteria (PSB) as well as application of FYM @ 5 kg/m² reported significant difference in days taken to sprouting, plant height (cm), number of leaves per plant, leaf area (cm²). The highest plant height (64.17cm), number of leaves (9.21) and leaf area (cm²) and minimum days taken to sprout (8.63) were registered due to the application of 100% RDF, which was at par with 75% RDF. Significantly earlier spike emergence, higher number of spikes per plant and higher weight of florets per spike were recorded with Azotobacter + Phosphate Solubilizing Bacteria inoculation over application of FYM @ 5 kg/m². Significantly minimum days taken to spike emergence, maximum number of spikes per plant and highest weight of florets per spike were registered with 100% RDF. The interaction of bio-inoculants and FYM (B x F) was found to be significant in respect to weight of florets per spike.
