A quadratic programming model was used to generate marketing plans that would be optimal for a farmer with a certain inventory of corn and soybeans. the model was applied to the comparison of marketing strategies that survived a means variance dominance test. simulations were made to vary credit limits, cash flow requirements, and the scale of operation.
