Comparitive study of vitamin E levels of Nigerian men and age-matched fertile and infertile women
1994
Makinde, K.A. | Adedeji, O.O.
The plasma levels of vitamin E in a Lagos population were determined by a fluorometric method. The mean level of vitamin E in this population was 18.43 micromol l-1. This is lower than the mean levels reported for Caucasians. The plasma vitamin E level was greater in men than in women, and greater in fertile women than in infertile women. The vitamin E values increased with age up to the 25-29 year age group.
