Hydride supported alloys Mg₂Ni (A), CaNi₅ (B) and FeTi (C) are in contrast to Ra-Ni unable for the catalytic hydrogenation and the hydrogenolysis of sulfur compounds. The origin and quality of the “structure bonded hydrogen” in Ra-Ni is still speculative.
