A field experiment was carried out during 2010–11, at the Central Research Farm, Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya, West Bengal, India to study the effect of Integrated Nutrient Management on the growth, quality and yield attributing characters in Brinjal plant. The result indicated that application of 75% of 125:100:50:: N:P:K kg ha⁻¹ +Azospirillum + Phosphate solubilising bacteria(PSB) (root dipping) each @ 125 g ha⁻¹ and Borax @ 10 kg ha⁻¹ (soil application) recorded significantly higher basal girth (11.46 cm), plant height (176.97cm), and total no. of shoots per plant(12.67), no. of fruits per plant(182.33), average fruit weigh(66.49g/plant), yield (14.96 t ha⁻¹), fruit protein content (14.83%) and economic return (i.e 60% over control).
