A field experiment was conducted during 2009–10 at Anand Agricultural University, Anand (Gujarat) to study the dissipation of fluopicolide and propamocarb hydrochloride as combination product in/on tomato. Three sprays of a ready mix formulation; fluopicolide 6.25% + propamocarb hydrochloride 62.5% were carried out at 7-day interval starting from the fruiting stage @ 93.75 +937.5 g a.i.ha⁻¹(T₁) and 187.5 +1875 g a.i.ha⁻¹(T₂). Residue analysis on tomato fruits revealed initial deposits of 0.42 and 2.06 μg g⁻¹ for fluopicolide and propamocarb hydrochloride, respectively, at recommended dose (T₁). The corresponding levels at higher dose (T₂) were 0.82 and 5.01 μg g⁻¹. The residues of fluopicolide and propamocarb hydrochloride reached below determination limit on 7ᵗʰ day at recommended dose of application with half-life values of 3.58 and 2.45 days, respectively. Soil samples collected on 20ᵗʰ day revealed residues of fluopicolide only at 0.06 and 0.55 μg g⁻¹ for recommended and double dose, respectively.
