Thirty diverse genotypes of mungbean were evaluated for estimation of genetic variability, heritability and genetic advance analysis for 12 quantitative characters. The experiment material use groan on RBD Design with three replication row to row and plant to plant 45×15 cm. At Agricultural Farm, Rajoula, Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramodaya Vishwavidyalaya, Chitrakoot, Satna (M. P.). The analysis of variance revealed highly significant differences for all the characters. The higher genotypic and phenotypic coefficient of variation were recorded for days to flowering, plant height (cm), days to maturity, number of clusters per plant, number of pods per cluster, number of pods per plant, pod length (cm) biological yield per plant (cm), and harvest index. High heritability were estimates for days to maturity, number of pods per cluster, harvest index, number of pods per plant, seed yield per plant, plant height, 100-seed weight, biological yield per plant, number of seeds per pod and pod length and the moderate heritability was recorded for days to flowering. The estimates of high heritability coupled with high genetic advance were found for seed yield per plant, number of pods per plant, number of clusters per plant, biological yield per plant, number of pods per cluster and harvest index. The estimates of high heritability coupled with moderate genetic advance were recorded for 100-seed weight, plant height and pod length and low for days to maturity, number of seeds per pod and days to flowering.
