Monitoring of Influence of Biopreparates, Weather Conditions and Variety on Production Parameters of Sugar Beet
2021

Experimental observations of sugar beet were carried out in 2017 and 2018 on the plots of the Experimental Station of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, near the village of Dolná Malanta. The experiments monitored the influence of weather conditions of the year, variety and biopreparation on the evaluated parameters of the experiment - white sugar yield (Wsy), white sugar content (Wsc) and content of molasses-forming substances. Based on the weather conditions of the monitored years it can be concluded that the results of all parameters were better in 2017, with a highly significant difference compared to 2018, except for Wsc, where no significant difference was found. The overall influence of the year factor, with the exception of Wsc, on all parameters of the experiment was highly significant. The variety factor had a highly demonstrable effect on all parameters of the experiment. The best values of Wsy 11.50 t/ha, Wsc 15.89%, K+ 3.36 mmol/100g, α-aminoN 1.71 mmol/100g were found in the Brian variety. By applying biopreparations, we positively influenced the results of the experiment in comparison to the control. The effect on all parameters (except Wsc) was highly significant. The highest Wsy 11.14 t/ha and Wsc 15.70% was recorded in the option using Naturalny plon biopreparation. The content of molasses-forming substances K+ 3.66 mmol/100g, Na+ 0.27 mmol/100g and α-aminoN 1.97 mmol/100g was the lowest in the option using Nano-Gro Aqua biopreparation.
