Pathogenic characterization of Pestalotiopsis grandis-urophylla by mycelium agar plugs inoculation | Caracterização patogênica de Pestalotiopsis grandis-urophylla pela inoculação de disco de micélio

إنجليزي. The aim of this study was to carry out the pathogenic characterization of Pestalotiopsis grandis-urophylla isolates obtained from lesions on eucalyptus leaves. From 2 isolates, pathogenic characterization was carried out, where they were inoculated in leaves and subjected to controlled conditions of temperature and light in transparent acrylic boxes with maintenance of humidity only on paper. The evaluations were carried out by measuring the lesions on the abaxial surface of the leaves at 4, 6, 8 and 10 days after inoculation (DAI), with the aid of a digital caliper, obtaining the size of the lesions in mm2. In assessing the pathogenic potential, data referring to lesions caused by P. grandis-urophylla were submitted to Tukey's test and regression analysis to obtain significant models. There was no statistical difference between the isolates regarding the injured leaf area (ILA) and the area under the disease progress curve (AUDPC). The evaluated inoculation methodology provided reproduction of disease symptoms.

البرتغالية. O objetivo deste estudo foi realizar a caracterização patogênica de isolados de Pestalotiopsis grandis-urophylla obtidos a partir de lesões em folhas de eucalipto. A partir de 2 isolados foi realizado a caracterização patogênica, onde foram inoculados em folhas e submetidos a condições controladas de temperatura e luz em caixas acrílicas transparentes com manutenção da umidade apenas no papel. As avaliações foram realizadas medindo-se as lesões na face abaxial das folhas aos 4, 6, 8 e 10 dias após a inoculação (DAI), com auxílio de paquímetro digital, obtendo-se o tamanho das lesões em mm2. Na avaliação do potencial patogênico, os dados referentes às lesões causadas por P. grandis-urophylla foram submetidos ao teste de Tukey e à análise de regressão para obtenção de modelos significativos. Não houve diferença estatística entre os isolados quanto à área foliar lesionada (AFL), e quanto a área abaixo da curva de progresso da doença (AACPD). A metodologia de inoculação avaliada proporcionou reprodução dos sintomas da doença.
