At the beginning of September of this year, there were opportunities to get acquainted with various Czech farms that operate in organic agriculture. Farming in the Czech countryside is quite similar to our conditions — the terrain and climatic conditions are very different between regions, there are a lot of small farms with small areas. Farms are facing difficult times at the moment, because the purchasing power of the population has significantly decreased, costs have increased greatly, which has intensified the incentive to use natural resources more thoughtfully — collecting rainwater, composting all plant residues, absorbing the soil as much as possible, leaving no room for weeds. In almost all farms, the introduction of the new generation to nature and gardening is of great importance. [ABSTRACT IN LATVIAN] Šā gada septembra sākumā bija iespējas iepazīties ar dažādām Čehijas saimniecībām, kas savu darbību veic bioloģiskajā lauksaimniecībā. Saimniekošana Čehijas laukos ir diezgan līdzīga mūsu apstākļiem — reljefs un klimatiskie apstākļi starp reģioniem ļoti atšķirīgi, ļoti daudz mazās saimniecības ar nelielām platībām. Saimniecībām šobrīd ir grūti laiki, jo iedzīvotāju pirktspēja ir būtiski mazinājusies, izmaksas ļoti pieaugušas, kas ir pastiprināti rosinājis pārdomātāki izmantot dabas resursus — nokrišņu ūdens savākšana, visu augu atlieku kompostēšana, maksimāli apgūt augsni, neatstājot vietu nezālēm. Teju visās saimniecībās liela nozīme ir jaunās paaudzes ievirzīšanā dabā un dārza darbos.
