Análisis comparativo de los niveles de cadmio en suelo aquic dystropepts, fluventic dystropepts y una pradera con pastura en reposo en la vereda rincón de pompeya, Villavicencio, Meta.

Se analizaron los factores que influyen en el nivel de cadmio disponible en el suelo de los predios “Entre Caños” y “El Castaño”, donde hay cultivos de arroz y un pastizal respectivamente. Los predios hacen parte de la vereda Rincón de Pompeya en Villavicencio-Meta. A partir de muestreo en campo, entrevistas semiestructuradas y Sistemas de Información Geográfica -SIG se realizó la caracterización, zonificación y análisis de los puntos con mayor concentración de cadmio en suelo. Se encontró que el suelo posee concentraciones de cadmio menores a 0,1 mg/kg que es el límite máximo permisible del Real Decreto 1310 de 90, legislación española, pues en Colombia no existe legislación específica para este contaminante en suelo. Por otro lado, los granos de arroz poseen una concentración del metal pesado hasta 7 veces mayor que la del suelo, superando los límites máximos permisibles exigidos por el Ministerio de Salud de Colombia por medio de la Resolución 4506 de 2013, por tanto, se requiere iniciar plan de contingencia por parte de Fedearroz para prevenir el consumo del producto contaminado y así mismo, el análisis de otros metales pesados con el ánimo de garantizar la inocuidad del producto para la salud humana y ambiental.

From field sampling, semi-structured interviews and Geographic Information Systems -GIS, the characterization, zoning and analysis of the points with the highest concentration of cadmium in soil was carried out. It was found that the soil has cadmium concentrations less than 0.1 mg/kg which is the maximum permissible limit of Royal Decree 1310 of 90, Spanish legislation, because in Colombia there is no specific legislation for this pollutant in soil. On the other hand, rice grains have a concentration of heavy metal up to 7 times higher than that of soil, exceeding the permissible maximum limits required by the Colombian Ministry of Health through Resolution 4506 of 2013, therefore, it is necessary to initiate contingency plan by Fedearroz to prevent the consumption of the contaminated product and also, the analysis of other heavy metals in order to ensure the safety of the product for human and environmental health.
