MEDICAMENTOS HOMEOPÁTICOS COMO PROMOTORES DE GERMINACIÓN Y EMERGENCIA DE CHILE (Capsicum annuum L.), SOMETIDO A ESTRÉS POR NaCI.

"La agricultura genera la mayor cantidad de alimentos que consume el ser humano y uno de sus factores limitantes es la salinización progresiva de los suelos, que afecta grandes extensiones territoriales, limitando sensiblemente la productividad agrícola. Los medicamentos homeopáticos de uso humano Natrum muriaticum (NaM) y Silicea terra (SiT) son compuestos bioactivos altamente diluidos que actúan ecoamigablemente como promotores de germinación y desarrollo inicial en diversos cultivos agrícolas de importancia comercial. En esta investigación se evaluó la respuesta morfo-fisiológica de chile (Capsicum annuum L.), a la aplicación de cloruro de sodio (NaCl) como inductor de estrés salino, en sus etapas fenológicas de germinación y emergencia/crecimiento inicial, y simultáneamente, el efecto atenuador de dos dinamizaciones de estos medicamentos en 7ª y 13ª dilución centesimal 1:99 (NaM-7CH y NaM-3CH; SiT-7CH y SiT-13CH). Se utilizó un diseño completamente al azar con arreglo factorial de (2A ×3B× 5C), siendo el factor A, las variedades de C. annuum L. [Santa Fé (SF) y Jalapeño M (JM)], el factor B, las concentraciones de NaCl (0, 50 y 100 mM) y el factor C, los medicamentos homeopáticos NaM-7CH, NaM-13CH, SiT-7CH, SiT-13CH y agua destilada (AD) como tratamiento control, para un total de 30 tratamientos con cuatro repeticiones cada uno. Las variables de respuesta evaluadas fueron: porcentaje de germinación (PG), tasa de germinación (TG), altura de la plántula (AP), longitud de radícula (LR) y biomasa fresca y seca de radícula (BFR y BSR) y de parte aérea (BFPA y BSPA). Se realizaron análisis de varianza y comparaciones múltiples de medias (Tukey HSD p≤0.05). Los resultados muestran que la aplicación de NaM-7CH y SiT-7CH incrementó significativamente las variables PG, AP, BFR, BSR, BFPA y BSPA. La respuesta mayor se registró en LR con el tratamiento NaM-7CH (57.8% en JM y 86.3% en SF), con respecto a las plántulas del tratamiento control (AD) sin medicación homeopática. En general, se observó un efecto favorable antiestrés al aplicar NaM y SiT, demostrando su potencial aplicabilidad como alternativa inocua y eficiente, para atenuar los efectos negativos del estrés salino en la producción agrícola sustentable, orgánica y convencional, de chile Jalapeño M y Santa Fé Grande."

A completely randomized design was used with a factorial arrangement of (2A × 3B × 5C), with factor A being the varieties of C. annuum L. [Santa Fe (SF) and Jalapeno M (JM)], factor B, the concentrations of NaCl (0, 50 and 100 mM) and factor C, homeopathic medicines NaM-7CH, NaM-13CH, SiT-7CH, SiT-13CH and distilled water (AD) as control treatment, for a total of 30 treatments with four repetitions each. The response variables evaluated were the germination percentage (PG), germination rate (TG), seedling height (AP), radicle length (LR) and fresh and dry radicle biomass (BFR and BSR) and of aerial part (BFPA and BSPA). Analysis of variance and multiple comparisons of means were performed (Tukey HSD p≤0.05). The results show that the application of NaM-7CH and SiT-7CH significantly increased the variables PG, AP, BFR, BSR, BFPA and BSPA. The greatest response was recorded in LR with the NaM-7CH treatment (57.8% in JM and 86.3% in SF), with respect to the seedlings of the control treatment (AD) without homeopathic medication. In general, a favorable anti-stress effect was observed when applying NaM and SiT, demonstrating their potential applicability as a safe and efficient alternative, to mitigate the negative effects of saline stress in the sustainable, organic or conventional agricultural production of Jalapeno M and large Santa Fe chili (Capsicum annuum L)."
