Origen y migración de las neuronas GnRH en el bovino (<i>Bos taurus</i>) | Origin and migration GnRH neurons in the bovine (<i>Bos taurus</i>)

La hormona liberadora de gonadotrofinas (GnRH) es liberada por células neurosecretoras ubicadas en el hipotálamo y regula la secreción de las hormonas gonadotróficas hipofisiarias, foliculoestimulante (FSH) y luteinizante (LH), es imprescindibles en los procesos de esteroidogénesis y gametogénesis gonadal. Mediante la aplicación de técnicas de inmunohistoquímica con la utilización del anticuerpo monoclonal LRH13 y del anticuerpo policlonal cII 675 se caracterizaron los tipos, la migración y distribución de la población de neuronas y fibras GnRH en fetos (4ta a 22da semana de edad gestacional) y ejemplares prepúberes de bovinos (Bos taurus). No se hallaron inmunomarcaciones positivas al anticuerpo cII 675. La migración naso-encefálica de las neuronas GnRHir ocurrió en la 8ta semana del desarrollo fetal. Las células tipo neuroblásticas fueron detectadas en el epitelio de la cavidad nasal y del órgano vomeronasal. Estas células migran por rutas definidas por los nervios vomeronasales y nervio terminal atravesando la lámina cribada del etmoides y penetran por la intersección naso-encefálica, para ubicarse en el prosencéfalo, principalmente en el área presuntiva del POA. Durante este período las células GnRHir sufrieron cambios significativos en su morfometría. Si bien, las células y fibras GnRHir post-migración naso-encefálica se ubicaron mayoritariamente en el hipotálamo rostral, la distribución y ubicación definitiva se alcanzó en la 21-22da semana del desarrollo fetal, momento en que se considerá que culminó la migración encefálica. Las neuronas GnRHir se distribuyeron principalmente en el área septal, POA, SON y AHA y en menor medida en la región periarcuata y ARC, tanto en fetos como en los terneros. Las neuronas GnRHir fueron mayoritariamente bipolares. Se encontraron variaciones significativas en el tamaño de las neuronas fetales, y entre estas y las neuronas GnRHir de los terneros.

Gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) is released by neurosecretory cells located in the hypothalamus. It regulates the synthesis and release of the Gonadotropin pituitary hormones, such us follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH), which they are essential to the processes of steroid synthesis and gamete development. Immunohistochemistry techniques were used to characterize types, migration and distribution of neurons population and GnRH fibbers. A monoclonal LRH13 antibody and a polyclonal cII 675 antibody were used to labelled cells and fibers in foetus (4 to 22 week of gestational age) and prepubertal bovine animals (Bos taurus). There was no evidence of positive cells labelling to the polyclonal cII675 antibody. The naso-encephalic migration of the GnRHir neurons occurs in the 8th week of the foetal development. Neuroblastic cells types were detected in the epithelium of the nasal cavity and in the vomeronasal organ, which migrate through routes defined by the vomeronasal nerves and the terminal nerve through the cribbed sheet of the ethmoids bone. Then they penetrate to the naso-encephalic intersection to be located in the forebrain, principally in the presumptive POA area. During this period the GnRHir cells present significant morphological changes. Though, most of the cells and the GnRHir naso-encephalic post-migration fibres were located in the rostral hypothalamus, distribution and definitive location was observed in the 21-22 week of the foetal development when it is thought that the encephalic migration has ended. Both in foetuses and calves the GnRHir neurons were distributed principally in the septal area, the POA, the SON and the AHA and in less extend the periarcuata and the ARC regions. Most of the GnRHir neurons were bipolar and significant variations were found in the size of the foetal neurons, and between these neurones and the GnRHir neurons of the calves.
