Este trabajo investigativo tiene como finalidad realizar un plan estratégico para contrarrestar los problemas que presenten en el acueducto de la Barragán y San Rafael, brindando el mejoramiento del mismo; mediante la elaboración de un diagnóstico, la realización de la matriz DOFA en conjunto con la matriz de peligros y eventos peligroso, junto al método semicuantitativo y así poder determinar qué factores están influyendo tanto de forma positiva como de forma negativa. Una vez realizado el diagnóstico del acueducto se pudo determinar cuáles son los factores que lo afectan y así mismo poder establecer las líneas estratégicas en el fortalecimiento de las juntas administrativas, la construcción de una planta de tratamiento para el mejoramiento de la calidad del agua, seguir con la educación ambiental, y el incremento de la zona boscosa donde se abastece los acueductos para formular los proyectos que contribuirán a solucionar las presiones ejercidas sobre la fuente abastecedora y el acueducto.

The purpose of this investigative work is to carry out a strategic plan to counteract the problems that present in the aqueduct of La Barragán and San Rafael, offering its improvement; by means of the elaboration of a diagnosis, the realization of the DOFA matrix in conjunction with the matrix of dangerous and dangerous events, together with the semiquantitative method and thus be able to determine which factors are influencing both positively and negatively. Once the diagnosis of the aqueduct had been carried out, it was possible to determine what the factors that affect it were and also to establish the strategic lines in the strengthening of the administrative boards, the construction of a treatment plant for the improvement of water quality, continue with environmental education, and the increase in the forested area where the aqueducts are supplied to formulate projects that will contribute to solving the pressures exerted on the supply source and the aqueduct.
