Programa de ahorro y consumo eficiente del agua para la Universidad del Rosario | Water saving and efficient water consumption program for Universidad del Rosario

De acuerdo con la consigna planteada por el sistema de gestión ambiental de la Universidad del Rosario (UR) en la que se busca alcanzar una universidad sostenible, el presente documento se realiza con el fin de formular el programa de ahorro y consumo eficiente del agua de la Universidad del Rosario. Buscando no solo mejorar las condiciones de uso de este recurso dentro del campus universitario y los edificios administrativos, sino además generar un impacto en su entorno, trayendo beneficios para las partes interesadas. Durante el desarrollo del documento se presentarán estadísticas actuales sobre el uso del agua dentro de las tres sedes de la universidad, referentes a consumo humano (sanitarios y lavamanos), actividades económicas y académicas (aseo, preparación de alimentos y laboratorios). Esto, en aras de caracterizar el consumo del recurso para generar planes de manejo en áreas de mayor impacto e interés.

In accordance with the slogan set by the environmental management system of the Universidad del Rosario (UR) in which it seeks to achieve a sustainable university, this document is made in order to formulate the program of saving and efficient water consumption of the Universidad del Rosario. Seeking not only to improve the conditions of use of this resource within the university campus and administrative buildings, but also to generate an impact on its environment, bringing benefits to stakeholders. During the development of the document, current statistics will be presented on the use of water within the three sites of the university, referring to human consumption (toilets and sinks), economic and academic activities (cleaning, food preparation and laboratories). This, in order to characterize the consumption of the resource to generate management plans in areas of greater impact and interest.
