El presente proyecto aplicado se enfoca en describir la generación de Bioabono, mediante el uso de la lombriz roja californiana (Eisenia foetida), la cual a condiciones metabólicas adecuadas fomentan la degradación de residuos sólidos orgánicos. Se evaluó el proceso de obtención de Bioabono a partir de residuos orgánicos de la finca Mameyales, y de la bovinaza producida en los corrales aledaños; proyectando la cantidad de abono posible a producir por el sector, logrando de esta forma motivar a la comunidad a desarrollar nuevos proyectos, y mecanismos de desarrollo limpio. El Bioabono obtenido presento buena calidad en relación con la normatividad vigente establecida por el Instituto Colombiano Agropecuario ICA. Para el desarrollo del presente proyecto primero se realizó un estudio del diseño de las camas en el terreno, posteriormente se procedió con la construcción de las mismas, se agregó el sustrato y se hicieron las adecuaciones para darles ingreso a las lombrices, una vez acondicionadas se empezaron las jornadas de mantenimiento, obteniendo como resultado 750 kilos de bio abono en nuestra primera producción. Este producto generado se convirtió en un insumo importante para la finca, debido a sus extraordinarias cualidades, mejorando así los suelos en términos físicos, químicos y biológicos.

Eisenia foetida, which is a metabolic condition, promotes the degradation of solid waste. Bioabono obtained a good relationship with the current norm with the ICA Colombian Agricultural Institute. For the development of the present project, a study was first carried out for the design of the beds in the land, then the beds were built, the substrate was found and it was adapted for the entrance to the earthworms, once it was determined, work began on the maintenance days, Obtaining as a result 750 kilos of bio fertilizer in our first production. This product has become an important element in the farm due to its extraordinary qualities, thus improving the terms in physical, chemical and biological terms. The most important of this activity is the generation of awareness and training for this type of alternative.
