Evaluación de tutorado con diferentes ángulos sobre el rendimiento y calidad de tomate (lycopersicum esculentum) var. Chonto.

El tomate es una de las hortalizas más cultivadas y consumidas en el mundo, en lo que respecta a Colombia, ha incrementado su producción con variedades de crecimiento indeterminado bajo invernadero, buscando así maximizar su rendimiento dado que actualmente no es el óptimo; por lo cual, este trabajo de investigación evaluó el efecto de la angularidad en el tutorado del tomate (Lycopersicum esculentum) var. Chonto de crecimiento indeterminado. El ensayo de investigación se desarrolló desde marzo hasta septiembre del año 2021, en las instalaciones de la Universidad de Ciencias Aplicadas y Ambientales U.D.C.A; en el invernadero de la sede el Remanso. El objetivo por evaluar es el rendimiento y el tipo de calibre obtenido en cada una de las diez cosechas de los diferentes tratamientos. Se utilizó un diseño experimental de bloques completamente al azar con tres tratamientos, T1: 90°, T2: 45° y T3: 30° y dos bloques, donde se consideró para los resultados la longitud de tallo, número de racimos, número de flores, número de frutos, diámetro ecuatorial y longitudinal, y peso por fruto, existió un fenómeno fitopatológico que influenció en los resultados finales, obtenido que el T3 no proporcionó ventaja productivas para el cultivo ya que presentó un crecimiento y desarrollo lento, con bajo rendimiento y competitividad frente a los otros tratamientos. El T1 superó a los otros tratamientos frente a las variables a evaluar, obtuvo mayor número de frutos, pero con calibres bajos, demostró menor afectación fitosanitaria, por el contrario, en T2 obtuvo resultados menores al T1, pero superiores que el T3, presentó menor número de frutos que el T1, pero con calibres más altos. Se recomienda seguir con el trabajo de investigación en una locación con condiciones más controlables, evitando que factores externos tengan un impacto sobre la investigación.

Tomato is one of the most cultivated and consumed vegetables in the world, in Colombia, it has increased its production with indeterminate growth varieties under greenhouse, seeking to maximize its yield since it is currently not optimal; therefore, this research work evaluated the effect of angularity in the tutoring of tomato (Lycopersicum esculentum) var. indeterminate growth Chonto. The research trial was developed from March to September 2021, at the facilities of the Universidad de Ciencias Aplicadas y Ambientales U.D.C.A., in the greenhouse of the Remanso campus. The objective was to evaluate the yield and the type of caliber obtained in each of the ten harvests of the different treatments. An experimental design of completely randomized blocks was used with three treatments, T1: 90°, T2: 45° and T3: 30° and two blocks, where stem length, number of bunches, number of flowers, number of fruits, equatorial and longitudinal diameter, and weight per fruit were considered for the results, there was a phytopathological phenomenon that influenced the final results, obtained that T3 did not provide productive advantages for the crop since it presented a slow growth and development, with low yield and competitiveness compared to the other treatments. T1 outperformed the other treatments in the variables to be evaluated, obtained a greater number of fruits, but with low calibers, showed less phytosanitary affectation, on the contrary, T2 obtained results lower than T1, but higher than T3, presented a lower number of fruits than T1, but with higher calibers. It is recommended to continue with the research work in a location with more controllable conditions, avoiding that external factor have an impact on the research
