Determinación del rango optimo del potencial matricial del suelo en el cultivo de fresa (fragaria vesca) bajo riego por goteo en la Estación Experimental La Argelia

In order to evaluate different tensions of moisture from the soil, between February and November 2013, a research in a crop of Strawberry (Fragaria vesca) was developed in alluvial loam soil with drip irrigation from the Experimental Station La Argelia of the Universidad Nacional de Loja. An experimental design of random blocks in a monofactorial arrangement with four replications was applied. The evaluated treatments were: T1 (witness); T2 (- 10 KPa to - 25 KPa); T3 (- 10 KPa to - 40 KPa) and T4 (- 10 KPa to - 55 KPa). Irrigation requirements were calculated using a tank type "A" and the Penman-Monteith method. The physical condition of the soil for the 00 cm - 20 cm horizon was medium. The water consumption for T2, T3 and T4 treatments was 66.8 mm; 24.1 mm and 21.2 mm respectively, provided in 4, 7 and 30 irrigations. The requirement of irrigation for the Penman-Monteith method was 515,5 mm and 132.5 mm for the tank type “A”. The ANOVA determined that there is significant statistically difference at the 5 % level for the factor of ranges of soil moisture tension and in its replications as well. At this level of significance the T2 is statistically different from T3 and T4, which are statistically equal, but different from T1. The best yeild was for T2 with 0.75 kg plant-1 and the lowest for T1 with 0.48 kg plant-1. The increase in yield between T2 and T1 was 56%. The highest marginal rate of return was for T2 (57,8 %).

Con el objeto de evaluar diferentes tensiones de humedad del suelo, entre febrero y noviembre de 2013, se desarrolló una investigación en un cultivo de fresa (fragaria vesca), en un suelo aluvial de textura franca con riego por goteo en la Estación Experimental La Argelia de la Universidad Nacional de Loja, con un diseño experimental de bloques completamente al azar y arreglo monofactorial con cuatro réplicas. Los tratamientos evaluados fueron: T1 (Testigo); T2 (-10 KPa a -25 KPa); T3 (-10 KPa a -40 KPa) y T4 (-10 KPa a -55 KPa). Los requerimientos de riego se calcularon mediante el tanque Tipo “A” y con Penman-Monteith. Las condiciones físicas del suelo para el horizonte de 00 cm - 20 cm fueron de Medio. El consumo de agua para los tratamientos T2, T3 y T4 fueron 66,8 mm; 24,1 mm y 21,2 mm respectivamente, aportados en 30, 7 y 4 riegos. El requerimiento de riego por Penman-Monteith fue de 515,5 mm y con el tanque Tipo A 132,5 mm. El ANAVA determinó, que existe diferencia estadísticamente significativa al nivel del 5% tanto para el para el factor rangos de potencial matricial del suelo, como para replicas. El T2 es estadísticamente diferente a nivel del 5% de significancia de T3 y T4, siendo éstos estadísticamente iguales, pero a su vez diferentes a T1. El mayor rendimiento fue para T2 con 0,75 kg planta-1 y el menor para T1 con 0,48 kg planta-1. El incremento del rendimiento entre T2 y T1 fue de 56%. La más alta tasa marginal de retorno fue para T2 (57,8 %).
