تقييم واقع تطبيق القوانين المتعلقة بالأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة في تسهيل عملية دمجهم من وجهة نظر المؤسسات الحكومية الفلسطينية ومؤسسات ذوي الإعاقة في محافظة جنين | Assess the Extent to Which Laws Relating to Persons with Disabilities Have Been Applied in Facilitating Their Integration into Development from the Point Of View of Palestinian Governmental Institutions and Institutions of Persons with Disabilities in Jenin Governorate

The aim of this study was to assess the extent to which laws relating to persons with disabilities have been applied in facilitating their integration from the point of view of Palestinian governmental institutions and institutions of persons with disabilities in Jenin Governorate. In order to achieve this purpose, the study used the descriptive method. A random sample of (150) directors of government institutions in Jenin Governorate was selected, a comprehensive survey was conducted for (82) persons with disabilities working in governmental and private institutions in Jenin governorate. The questionnaire was used as a tool for gathering information in the present study. The study included two questionnaires (directors' questionnaire) and (persons with disabilities questionnaire). The directors' questionnaire included three axes: demographic data, and the extent to which laws relating to persons with disabilities have been applied, and challenges. The persons with disabilities questionnaire included only two axes: the demographic data axis and the extent of the application of the laws on persons with disabilities. After confirming the validity of the study instrument and its stability, the study was applied. The study showed the following results: The extent of implementation of the laws relating to persons with disabilities in government institutions and institutions of persons with disabilities was found to be moderate. The challenges faced by persons with disabilities in their integration into the work environment from the point of view of directors were found to be moderate. ز It was found that there are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α 0.05) in the means of the application of the laws concerning persons with disabilities and the nature of the challenges they face in Jenin governorate from the point of view of directors due to the variables of gender, age, scientific qualification, job title, and number of years in service. The extent to which the laws relating to persons with disabilities are employed in government institutions and institutions of persons with disabilities has been found to be moderate. It was found that there are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05 0.05) in the means of the application of the laws concerning persons with disabilities working in governmental institutions and institutions of persons with disabilities, and the extent to which institutions accept the law from the point of view of persons with disabilities in Jenin governorate due to gender, age, scientific qualification, job title, and type of institution. It was found that there are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05 0.05) in the means of the application of the laws concerning persons with disabilities working in governmental institutions and institutions of persons with disabilities, and the extent to which institutions accept the law from the point of view of persons with disabilities in Jenin governorate due to number of years in service and nature of disability. The researcher recommended the need to integrate persons with disabilities working and non-working to raise their scientific and functional competences, and to work to provide the latest technologies and tools that suit different disabilities. She also recommended working on providing equal employment opportunities for persons with disabilities of both sexes and activating their role in the society.
