Analiza şi aprecierea ştiinţifică a plantaţiei de afin, amplasată în zona de centru a Republicii Moldova

The paper presents the research and observations carried out during the years 2014–2019 in the conditions of the Republic of Moldova on the development of blueberry plants under production conditions in the LLC " Lolly Berry" plantation, established in the fall of 2013, in the village of Dolna, Strasheni nr. 1 [91] 2024 n „Pomicultura, Viticultura şi Vinificaţia” n 7 district, with a total area of 10.5 ha. The research was carried out regarding the development of the phenological phases of blueberry plants in the following varieties: Bluecrop, Duke, Bluegold and Brigita Blue. Plant placement was carried out in pits filled with acidic substrate (pH 4.5-5.5), according to the planting distance of 3.5 x 1.0 m. The beginning of budding took place between 17-21.03 and the end between 17–21.04. The beginning of the flowering of blueberry plants varied between 06.05–15.05 and the end between 05.15–19.05. The ripening of the fruits started respectively between 07–12.07 and 21–26.07 depending on the variety and climatic conditions established during the vegetation period. The average duration between budding and flowering was 50 days, between flowering and fruit ripening 63 days, between fruit ripening and leaf fall – 116 days, the average duration of the rest period –137 days. The number of annual shoots per bush varied between 1.1 pcs. (Brigitta Blue variety) and 2.2 pcs. (Bluecrop variety). The average length of an annual shoot varied between 12.46 cm (Brigitta Blue variety) and 29.96 cm (Bluecrop variety). The total length of annual growths per bush varied between 19.25 cm (Brigitta Blue variety) and 80.08 cm (Duke variety).
