Eficiência de herbicidas pré-emergentes no controle de vassourinha-de-botão (Spermacoce verticillata L.) em pré-semeadura da soja | Pre-emergent herbicide efficacy in false buttonweed (Spermacoce verticillata L.) control during Soybean Pre-seeding

Um dos maiores desafios enfrentados em áreas de cultivo de soja no Brasil é o controle de plantas daninhas da espécie Spermacoce verticillata L. (vassourinha-de- botão), por se tratar de uma espécie tolerante ao herbicida glyphosate, o qual é amplamente utilizado na dessecação em pré-plantio e em pós-emergência na soja transgênica resistente ao referido herbicida. Diante do exposto, objetivou-se com esta pesquisa, avaliar a eficiência de herbicidas pré-emergentes, aplicados na pré- semeadura da soja, isolados e em misturas, no controle da vassourinha-de-botão, bem como a seletividade para a cultura da soja. Os ensaios foram conduzidos à campo na Fundação Rio Verde, em Lucas do Rio Verde-MT, no delineamento de blocos casualizados (DBC), com quatro repetições. Os tratamentos avaliados foram: diclosulam (0,035 Kg ha-1), a mistura comercial imazethapyr + flumioxazin em variação de dose (0,5 e 0,6 L ha-1), flumioxazin + s-metolaclhor em mistura de tanque (0,15 + 0,9 L ha-1) e mistura comercial (1,2 L ha-1), s-metolaclhor (1,5 L ha-1), sulfentrazone + diuron em mistura comercial (1,4 L ha-1), piroxasulfona + flumioxazin em mistura comercial (0,25 L ha-1), sulfentrazone + imazethapyr em mistura comercial (1,0 L ha- ) e testemunha sem herbicidas. As variáveis avaliadas foram a eficiência de controle, número de plantas de vassourinha-de-botão (m²), seletividade para a cultura da soja aos 7, 21 e 35 dias após aplicação (DAA), e produtividade da soja. Constatou-se que os tratamentos com o flumioxazin em mistura com outros, apresentaram os melhores resultados de controle de vassourinha-de-botão em pré-semeadura da soja, são eles: imazethapyr + flumioxazin, flumioxazin + s-metolaclhor e piroxasulfona + flumioxazin. A soja não apresentou fitotoxidez. Em relação a produtividade, os resultados obtidos são condizentes com o nível de controle das plantas daninhas. Os resultados possibilitaram melhor posicionamento e segurança para recomendação do controle químico da vassourinha-de-botão. Palavra-chave: Planta daninha. Fitotoxicidade. Glycine max.

One of the greatest challenges faced in soybean cultivation areas in Brazil is the control of weeds of the species Spermacoce verticillata L. (false buttonweed), due to its tolerance to the herbicide glyphosate, which is widely used in pre-plant desiccation and post-emergence in glyphosate-resistant transgenic soybean. The objective of this research was to evaluate the efficacy of pre-emergent herbicides, applied in soybean pre-seeding, both individually and in mixtures, for controlling false buttonweed, as well as their selectivity for the soybean crop. Field trials were conducted at Fundação Rio Verde in Lucas do Rio Verde-MT, using a randomized complete block design (RCBD) with four replications. The evaluated treatments were: diclosulam (0.035 kg ha -1), the commercial mixture of imazethapyr + flumioxazin at varying doses (0.5 and 0.6 L ha - ), flumioxazin + s-metolachlor in tank mixture (0.15 + 0.9 L ha -1) and commercial mixture (1.2 L ha-1), s-metolachlor (1.5 L ha-1), sulfentrazone + diuron in commercial mixture (1.4 L ha-1), piroxasulfone + flumioxazin in commercial mixture (0.25 L ha -1), sulfentrazone + imazethapyr in commercial mixture (1.0 L ha -1), and a control without herbicides. The evaluated variables included control efficiency, number of emerged false buttonweed plants per m², soybean crop selectivity at 7, 21, and 35 days after application (DAA), and soybean yield. The treatments containing flumioxazin in mixture with others showed the best results for false buttonweed control in soybean pre- seeding, namely: imazethapyr + flumioxazin, flumioxazin + s-metolachlor, and piroxasulfone + flumioxazin. Regarding phytotoxicity, no phytotoxic effects were observed on the soybean crop. As for yield, the results were consistent with the level of weed control. The obtained results allowed for a more accurate positioning and safety in recommending chemical control of false buttonweed. Keywords: Weed. Phytotoxicity. Glycine max.
