[Resumen]: La divulgación científica nace de la necesidad de transmitir conocimiento a un público no especializado. En este proyecto de divulgación se aborda la domesticación del maíz, que es uno de los cereales más consumidos a nivel mundial. Se explica la evolución desde el teosinte hasta el maíz actual, las diferencias morfológicas y genéticas entre ambos, así como la diversidad existente en la actualidad. Todo ello se expondrá en forma de un taller científico apoyado por diferentes soportes como pósteres, fotografías y maquetas.

This dissemination project addresses the domestication of corn, which is one of the most consumed cereals worldwide. The evolution from the teosinte to current corn, morphological and genetic differences between the two, as well as the current diversity that exists today is explained. All this will be exhibited in the form of a scientific workshop supported by different supports such as posters, photographs and models.
