Pre - dimensionamiento del tratamiento de las aguas residuales de origen doméstico y de los residuos del sitio de crianza de cerdos. Tratamiento de lodos.

El presente Trabajo de Integración Curricular tiene por objetivo desarrollar una alternativa adecuada en términos ambientales, económicos y rentable para el tratamiento de purines, excretas y orines de una granja porcícola de naturaleza comercial-familiar ubicada de manera teórica en Santo Domingo de los Colorados. Para la propuesta del proyecto se determinó la cantidad de cerdos con que se empezaria el funcionamiento la granja, además se determinó cantidad de agua que cada cerdo requiere para su adecuado desarrollo, crecimiento y limpieza sin dejar de lado el agua requerida por el personal que de la granja para su consumo, lavado e higiene. Las instalaciones de la granja porcícola van a contar con una parte destinada hacia los cerdos y otra para el personal que desempeñará las labores de cuidado y mantenimiento de la granja. Para los cerdos se tiene varias áreas dependiendo del punto de desarrollo donde se encuentren, es así como se tiene; un área de gestación, un módulo de maternidad, un área de destete y crecimiento, un área de engorde, un área de desarrollo para verracos, un área de venta, un área de cuarentena y aclimatación y un área destinada al manejo de desechos. Por otra parte, la granja cuenta con un edificio o vivienda destinada para el personal que desarrolle sus labores en la granja ya sean estas administrativas, obreras o de mantenimiento. Considerando la composición de la granja, y además del número y consumo de agua que tanto personal como cerdos requieren se diseñaron los tanques que en conjunto forman el sistema de tratamiento de aguas y purines de la granja. El próximo paso para seguir es el de determinar el tipo de sistema de tratamiento de purines y excretas que se va a implementar en la granja. Se dimensionó un tanque séptico a partir de los volúmenes de agua requeridos por el personal de la granja, un tanque Imhoff el cual va a acoger los purines, excretas y orines tanto de los galpones de los cerdos, así como de las salidas del tanque séptico y por último un lecho de secado al final de la línea donde se deshidratarán los lodos provenientes de los digestores de los tanques sépticos e Imhoff.

For the project proposal, the number of pigs with which the farm would start operating was determined, in addition, the amount of water that each pig requires for its proper development, growth and cleaning was determined, without neglecting the water required by the staff that the farm for consumption, washing and hygiene. The facilities of the pig farm will have a part destined for the pigs and another for the personnel that will carry out the tasks of care and maintenance of the farm. For pigs there are several areas depending on the point of development where they are, that is how it is; a gestation area, a maternity module, a weaning and growth area, a fattening area, a development area for boars, a sales area, a quarantine and acclimatization area, and an area for waste management. On the other hand, the farm has a building or home for the staff who carry out their work on the farm, whether they are administrative, workers or maintenance. Considering the composition of the farm, and in addition to the number and consumption of water that both staff and pigs require, the tanks that together form the farm's water and slurry treatment system were designed. The next step to follow is to determine the type of slurry and excreta treatment system to be implemented on the farm. A septic tank was sized based on the volumes of water required by the farm staff, an Imhoff tank which will receive the slurry, excreta and urine from both the pig sheds, as well as from the septic tank outlets. and finally a drying bed at the end of the line where the sludge from the septic tank and Imhoff digesters will be dehydrated.
