Unxiini trib. nov. é proposta para incluir os seguintes gêneros até o momento incluídos em Compsocerini Thomson, 1864: Chariergus White, 1855, Chenoderus Fairmaire & Germain, 1859, Unxia Thomson, 1860, Ethemon Thomson, 1864, Paromoeocerus Gounelle, 1910, Rierguscha Viana, 1970, Parunxia Napp, 1977 e Allopeba Napp & Reynaud, 1999, nos quais as fêmeas apresentam uma escova de pêlos no sétimo tergito abdominal usada como estratégia de oviposição. A escova de pêlos pigidial é única entre os Cerambycidae. Chaves para gêneros e espécies são fornecidas e todas as espécies são ilustradas.<br>Unxiini trib. nov. is proposed to include the following genera up to now in Compsocerini Thomson, 1864: Chariergus White, 1855, Chenoderus Fairmaire & Germain, 1859, Unxia Thomson, 1860, Ethemon Thomson, 1864, Paromoeocerus Gounelle, 1910, Rierguscha Viana, 1970, Parunxia Napp, 1977 and Allopeba Napp & Reynaud, 1999, whose females present a brush on the seventh abdominal tergite used as oviposition strategy. In Cerambycidae, this kind of brush is exclusive to Unxiini. Keys to genera and species are provided and all the species are illustrated.
