Avaliação de programas nutricionais com redução do nível de proteína bruta e fósforo total da dieta para suínos nas fases de crescimento e terminação | Evaluation of nutritional programs reducing dietary crude protein and total phosphorus levels in growing-finishing pigs

Para a formulação de dietas para suínos comumente utilizam-se exigências nutricionais tabeladas, que são estabelecidas com uma margem de segurança para que todos os animais expressem a máxima resposta, o que pode resultar em maior quantidade de nutrientes excretados. O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar programas nutricionais com redução da proteína bruta (PB) e fósforo total (PT) da dieta, através de simulações do software de modelagem InraPorc®, sobre o desempenho e características de carcaça e carne de suínos durante as fases de crescimento e terminação. Cada fase foi dividida em dois períodos. Foram utilizados 40 fêmeas e 40 machos castrados, distribuídos em delineamento em blocos casualizados com dois tratamentos e 10 repetições/tratamento de quatro a . Foram formuladas dietas para cada uma das quatro fases, sendo um dos tratamentos (D1) ajustado pelo modelo InraPorc®, em que se reduziu os níveis de PB e PT, e outro (D2) com uma dieta controle, formulada com níveis nutricionais recomendados por Rostagno et al. (2011). Não houve diferença (P>0,05) no ganho de peso diário (GPD), consumo de ração (CRD) e conversão alimentar (CA) nas fases de crescimento e na terminação II, nem no período total do experimento. Na média, o GPD e o CRD foram de 0,919 e 2,46 kg/dia, respectivamente. Os tratamentos não influenciaram (P>0,05) o consumo de água diário (média de 5,96 litros/dia) e a produção de dejetos (3,88 litros/dia). Nas estimativas de balanço de nitrogênio (N) e fósforo (P), não houve diferença estatística na ingestão de P nas fases de crescimento, e na excreção de P na fase de crescimento II. Na terminação, os animais que receberam a dieta ajustada apresentaram menor (P<0,05) ingestão e excreção de P; os animais do D1 e D2 ingeriram 1157 e 1265 g de P/suíno, respectivamente e a excreção média foi de 628,4 e 726,4 g/suíno, respectivamente. Houve diferença (P<0,05) na ingestão e excreção de N em todas as fases. A ingestão total foi de 5,83 e 6,92 kg de N/suíno e a excreção média foi 3,22 e 4,26 kg/suíno na D1 e D2, respectivamente. A retenção de N e P não foi influenciada (P>0,05) pelos tratamentos. As características de carcaça e de qualidade da carne não foram afetadas (P>0,05) pela dieta. O custo médio total com alimentação foi 6,25% menor (P<0,05) e a receita líquida foi 28,9% superior quando os animais consumiram a dieta com ajuste dos níveis nutricionais. Os resultados demonstram que o ajuste nutricional é uma alternativa viável para as dietas comerciais praticadas no Brasil.

The aim of this study was to evaluate nutritional programs, reducing dietary crude protein (CP) and total phosphorus (TP) levels, through InraPorc® modelling software on performance, carcass traits and meat quality of growing-finishing pigs.40 females and 40 barrows were used, distributed in a randomized block design with initial BW and sex serving as the blocking factors, with 2 treatments and 10 replicates/treatment, with four animals per experimental unit. The growing and finishing periods were divided in two phases each. Diets were formulated for each phase, being one (D1) of the treatments adjusted by InraPorc® model, reducing the dietary CP and TP levels. The other treatment (D2) was a control diet formulated with tabulated values (Rostagno et al., 2011). There was no effect (P>0.05) on average daily gain, feed intake and gain to feed ratio in growing and finishing phases, neither in all experimental period. On average, the GPD and the CRD were 0.919 and 2.46 kg / day, respectively. Treatments did not affect (P > 0.05) the daily water consumption (average of 5.96 liters / day) and the production of manure (3.88 liters/day). On estimates of nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) balance, there was no statistical difference in P intake during the growing phase, and P excretion in growing phase II. At finishing, the animals that received the adjusted diet had lower (P<0.05) intake and excretion of P; animals of D1 and D2 ingested 1157 and 1265 g P/pig, respectively, and the average excretion was 628.4 and 726.4 g/pig, respectively. There were differences (P<0.05) in N intake and excretion in all phases. The total intake was 5.83 and 6.92 kg N/pig and the mean excretion was 3.22 and 4.26 kg/pig in D1 and D2, respectively. The retention of N and P was not influenced (P>0.05) by treatments. Carcass characteristics and meat quality were not affected (P> 0.05) by diet. The average total feed cost was 6.25% lower (P<0.05) and net revenue was 28.9% higher when animals consumed the diet with nutritional levels of adjustment. The results showed that the nutritional adjustment is a viable alternative to commercial diets used in Brazil.
