Evaluación del rendimiento y calidad del fruto en interacción de germoplasma de tomate y bacterias del género Bacillus en presencia del nematodo nodulador (Meloidogyne spp.).

spa:El tomate, Solanum lycopersicum L, es la hortaliza de mayor importancia económica a nivel global por su área sembrada y producción. En Colombia es un producto destinado a la producción comercial y para la seguridad alimentaria; generalmente se cultiva de forma convencional y como método habitual de control de plagas se recurre a la aplicación excesiva de productos químicos. Meloidogyne spp. es uno de los principales problemas en los suelos cultivados, debido a que puede reducir hasta el 68% de la producción total; las bacterias del género Bacillus son una alternativa positiva de control biológico del patógeno. Se evaluó la respuesta promisoria del germoplasma de tomate y bacterias nativas del género Bacillus en presencia del nematodo (Meloidogyne spp.)sobre el rendimiento y calidad del fruto en cuatro genotipos (IAC 1687, Coly 007, Híbrido comercial y Variedad comercial. La investigación se desarrolló en la granja Montelindo de la Universidad de Caldas ubicada en el municipio de Palestina Caldas a una altura de 1.050 msnm, con temperatura media 22.8°C, precipitación promedio anual de 1.800 mm y humedad relativa de 76%. El diseño experimental fue parcelas divididas con bloques completos al azar, cada uno con 7 tratamientos y 3 repeticiones, la unidad experimental constó de 6. Las variables evaluadas fueron: Rendimiento (t/ha), número de frutos totales (NFT), peso promedio del fruto (PPF) (gramos), contenido de sólidos solubles (CSS) (°Brix), firmeza (kg. f). El análisis de varianza (ANAVA) para el genotipo se realizó mediante el software SAS, los tratamientos o interacciones que presentaron resultados significativos, se aplicaron posteriormente pruebas de rango múltiple de Duncan para definir las alternativas más efectivas sobre el comportamiento agronómico del cultivo de tomate en presencia del nematodo. IAC 1687 e Híbrido comercial presentaron diferencias significativas (P<0.05) sobre el rendimiento entre genotipos, alcanzado en promedio 18,38 y 16,20 t/ha; la interacción genotipo*tratamiento solo Híbrido comercial presentó diferencias significativas en interacción con el tratamiento producto biológico comercial (PBC) (i.a. Bacillus subtilis, raza (QTS 713), de igual manera, con el mismo tratamiento IAC 1687 expresó el mayor rendimiento (21,1 y 21,8 t/ha respectivamente) presentando aumentos del 34 y 18% respectivamente frente a los resultados de los tratamientos Testigo con nematodos (TNEM), aunque los tratamientos con bacterias nativas no presentaron diferencias significativas demostraron mantener los rendimientos en presencia del nematodo. Sólo COLY 007 presentó diferencias significativas respecto a NFT siendo el testigo sin nematodos (TSNEM) quien reportó la mayor media (141 frutos); sólo IAC 1687 y COLY007 presentaron diferencias significativas de PPF reportando las mayores medias en interacción con el tratamiento Bacillus infantis GIBI 177 (31,09 y 31,94 gramos respectivamente) demostrando incrementos del 64 y 66% comparados con los resultados obtenidos por TNEM. El germoplasma evaluado presentó diferencias significativas (P<0.05) respecto a las variables de calidad: contenido de sólidos solubles (CSS) (°Brix) y firmeza cuyos resultados fueron inversamente proporcionales entre los tipos de tomate, exponiendo a IAC 1687 como la variedad con el mejor comportamiento (6.5 °Brix) frente a la variable CSS y al Híbrido comercial como el genotipo con frutos de mayor firmeza (1.75 kg. f). Las comparaciones de las medias obtenidas de los tratamientos frente a las variables de calidad demostraron que solo la variable CSS presentó diferencias significativas, siendo TSNEM el tratamiento con mayor valor promedio (5.3°Brix). La interacción genotipo*tratamiento demostró que en interacción con el tratamiento PBC, la variedad IAC 1687 alcanzó el mayor CCS (7.5°Brix) y el Híbrido comercial obtuvo el mayor valor de firmeza (1,90 kg. f) valores 3 y 10% superiores a los alcanzados por TNEM respectivamente. Con relación a las bacterias nativas, Bacillus subtilis GIBI200 ejerció el mayor efecto sobre el CSS en los genotipos Híbrido comercial y Variedad comercial (4.7 y 4.2°Brix respectivamente), además, con la misma cepa, la firmeza resultó ser influenciada en las variedades comerciales e IAC 1687. El material IAC se destacó en este estudio llegando a ser promisorio por sus atributos inherentes deseados en características de rendimiento y calidad. Se demostró que la respuesta del germoplasma de tomate en interacción con bacterias del género Bacillus en presencia de Meloidogyne spp. fue positiva al demostrar que la producción y calidad del fruto se mantuvieron superiores con la influencia de los tratamientos biológicos.

The comparisons of the means obtained from the treatments against the quality variables showed that only the CSS variable presented significant differences, with TSNEM being the treatment with the highest average value (5.3°Brix). The genotype*treatment interaction showed that in interaction with the PBC treatment, the IAC 1687 variety reached the highest CCS (7.5°Brix) and the commercial Hybrid obtained the highest firmness value (1.90 kg. f) values 3 and 10% higher than those reached by TNEM respectively. In relation to the native bacteria, Bacillus subtilis GIBI200 exerted the greatest effect on the CSS in the Commercial Hybrid and Commercial Variety genotypes (4.7 and 4.2°Brix respectively), in addition, with the same strain, the firmness turned out to be influenced in the commercial varieties. and IAC 1687. The IAC material stood out in this study as showing promise for its inherent desired attributes in performance and quality characteristics. It was shown that the response of tomato germplasm in interaction with bacteria of the genus Bacillus in the presence of Meloidogyne spp. was positive when demonstrating that the production and quality of the fruit remained higher with the influence of biological treatments.
