Efecto del acolchado plástico en la temperatura superficial del suelo y su relación con el desarrollo y rendimiento del cultivo de melón | Plastic mulch effect on soil temperature and its relationships to the growth and yield of muskmelon

الأسبانية؛ قشتالية. Se evaluó el efecto de cuatro películas plásticas en la temperatura del suelo y su relación con el desarrollo y rendimiento del cultivo de melón. Las películas plásticas evaluadas fueron: polietileno negro de 37.5 y 20 μm, polietileno transparente de 37.5 y 20 μm. Como testigo, se manejó un tratamiento sin acolchado plástico. El efecto se estudió bajo dos condiciones de humedad del suelo, 40 y 60 % de consumo de la humedad aprovechable. Para el análisis estadístico, se utilizó un diseño experimental de bloques al azar en parcelas divididas. La temperatura del suelo se midió a 25, 50 y 100 mm de profundidad, utilizando termopares de cobre-constantan. Las mediciones se realizaron a un intervalo de 10 segundos y promedios de 30 minutos. Los resultados de este estudio indicaron que el polietileno transparente de 20 y 37.5 μm induce las temperaturas promedio del suelo más altas en los dos contenidos de humedad, seguido por los polietilenos negros y los testigos. Paral el 40 % de consumo de humedad del suelo, el mayor rendimiento de frutos (75.8 t ha-1) se observó con el polietileno negro de 20 μm, siendo 98% mayor que el testigo, mientras que para el 60% de consumo de humedad del suelo, el mayor rendimiento de frutos (66.6 t ha-1) se observó en el polietileno negro de 37.5 μm, siendo 84% mayor que el testigo al mismo contenido de humedad. 

إنجليزي. The effect of four different plastic films on the soil temperature and its relations hip to the growth and yield of muskmelon crop were evaluated. The plastic films studied were: black polyethylene of 37.5 and 20 μm, clear polyethylene of 37.5 and 20 μm. As a control, a treatment with no plastic film was included. The plastic films were evaluated at 40% and 60% of soil water availability. A randomized block with subdivided plots was adapted as the experimental design. The soil temperature was measured at soil depths of 25, 50 and 100 mm, using cupper-constantan thermocouples. The measurements were scanned every 10 seconds and averaged every 30 minutes. The results of this study indicated that the average soil temperature at the three depths was higher under the clear polyethylene of 37.5 and 20 μm, followed by the black polyethylene and the controls. At the 40% of soil water availability, the highest fruit yield (75.88 t ha-1) was observed under the black polyethylene of 20 μm, which was 98% higher than the control, while for the 60% of soil water availability, the highest fruit yield (66.61 t ha-1) was observed under the black polyethylene of 37.5 μm, which was 84% higher than the control at the same soil water availability.
