INFORMATION SUPPORT FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH AT THE FEDERAL SCIENTIFIC CENTER OF LEGUMES AND GROAT CROPS

the article reflects the issues of information and consulting support of scientific research on the subject of R&D in the implementation of scientific and technological development in the areas of activity of the center. Currently, 16 new varieties are undergoing state variety testing, and patents and author's certificates for breeding achievements have been obtained. The varieties of FSC LGC breeding are distinguished by a combination of the most important traits and properties that ensure crop technology, plasticity, yield and product quality. Promotion of breeding achievements is organized by participation in competitions, exhibitions of different levels, experimental plots and demonstration sites. Active work is under way to attract talented young people to scientific activities within the framework of the Decade of Science and Technology project. Leading scientists of FSC LGC - participants of the ‘Path to Science’ project - invite schoolchildren and students on excursions to their laboratories to see how scientific experiments and working days of scientists are conducted. In 2024, the Russian Academy of Sciences celebrated its 300th anniversary. Federal Scientific Center of legumes and groat crops held planned events dedicated to this date, which allowed to gather the scientific community, representatives of the real sector of the agro-industrial complex economy on experimental crops. Within the framework of practical seminars, expert meetings there was a wide discussion of issues related to modern achievements and promising trends in breeding and seed production of agricultural crops in Russia under the conditions of import substitution
