اظهر المزيد [+] اقل [-][EN] 128 zooplankton samples from Cabo Jubi to portuguese Guinea (West Africa) are studied in the present work in order to give a notice about the Siphonophores of this regionn and its distribution. It appear that M. atlantica and C. appendiculata are the only neritic species, the remainder are oceanic ones and only sporadically they are found in the samples, all of them taken on the continental shelf. Four species were not identified and are briefly described. A comparison with the Mediterranean fauna is also given in this paper
