Progressive atrophische Rhinitis — eine seltene Erkrankung beim Schwarzwild (Sus scrofa scrofa L. 1758)

ألمانية. In der vorliegenden Arbeit wird über das Auftreten von atrophischer Rhinits in einer Schwarzwildrotte im Landkreis Demmin (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern) berichtet. Die Erkrankung trat in der Wildpopulation vor allem bei Frischlingen mit einem akuten Krankheitsgeschehen auf, wobei Niesen, Husten, Dyspnoe, serös-eitrige Konjunktivitis und blutiger Nasenausfluss im Vordergrund standen, wie auch Deformationen im Bereich des Gesichtsschädels. Abgänge von Jungtieren aus der Rotte werden mit der Erkrankung in Zusammenhang gebracht. Bei einem ca. 11 Monate alten Frischling wurde eine „progressive atrophische Rhinitis“ festgestellt, verursacht durchPasteurella multocida-Toxin bildende S-Formen vonPasteurella multocida ssp. multocida, Kapseltype D. Das Tier wies zusätzlich einen starken Befall mit Lungenwürmern und deren Vorstufen auf. Ursachen für das Auftreten der Erkrankung werden diskutiert.

إنجليزي. This report describes clinical signs of atrophic rhinitis in a group of European wild boars in the district Demmin (Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania). The disease was observed in young wild boars (< 1 year old) and was characterised by the following symptoms: sneezing, coughing, dyspnoea, mucopurulent conjunctivitis, bloody nasal discharge and deformations of the facial bones. One young female wild boar with an age of about eleven months was euthanised for further pathological and microbiological investigations. This animal showed a “progressive atrophic rhinitis” associated with toxigenicPasteurella multocida (S-forms ofPasteurella multocida ssp. multocida, capsular serotype D). Beside this, the animal was severely infested with metastrongylus sp. (eggs, larvae and adults). The causes and the pathogenesis of the disease are discussed.
