Untersuchungen zum Einfluss unterschiedlicher Selenquellen in der Milchviehfütterung auf den Selengehalt der Milch | Investigations to the influence of different sources and levels of selenium in the feed of dairy cows on the selenium content of the milk

ألمانية. In einem Fütterungsversuch an Milchkühen wurde der Einfluss von Selen-Ergänzungen auf den Selengehalt der Milch sowie auf den Selenstatus von Blut (Plasma), Faeces und Harn geprüft. Des Weiteren wurden Einflüsse auf Futteraufnahme, Milchmenge und Milchinhaltsstoffe untersucht. Für den Versuch standen 30 laktierende Milchkühe der Rasse „Deutsche Holstein“ zur Verfügung. Das Experiment bestand aus 3 Perioden (I, II, III) mit einer Dauer von je 3 Wochen. Alle Kühe erhielten dieselbe Futtermischung (TMR) (25 % Grassilage, 25 % Maissilage, 50 % Kraftfutter auf T-Basis) ad libitum. Diese Grundration enthielt 0,1 mg Se/kg T. Periode I wurde als Kontrollperiode ohne Selen-supplemente durchgeführt. Nach dieser Periode wurden die 30 Kühe in 2 Gruppen zu je 15 Tieren geteilt. Gruppe 1 (NaSe) er-hielt anorganisches Selen (Natriumselenit) und Gruppe 2 (SeMet) organisches Selen (Selen-Hefe). Das Supplement wurde der TMR zugesetzt und lag in Periode II bei 0,2 mg Se/kg T und in Periode III bei 0,4 mg Se/kg T. Die Selenkonzentrationen in Milch, Blut, Kot und Harn wurden jeweils am Ende der Periode ermittelt. Die Erfassung der T-Aufnahme sowie der Milchmenge erfolgte täglich, die Bestimmung der Milch-inhaltsstoffe zweimal pro Woche. Im Vergleich von Periode I zu Periode II stieg der Selengehalt der Milch von 13,3 auf 17,6 μg/l (anorganisches Selen) bzw. von 13,9 auf 26,4 μg/l (organisches Selen). Eine weitere Steigerung der Selenzulage in Periode III erhöhte die Selenkonzentration in der Milch auf 19,7 μg/l (anorganisches Selen) bzw. auf 54,8 μg/l (organisches Selen). Die Ergeb-nisse dieser Untersuchung zeigen, dass bei Verwendung von organischem Selen (Selen-Hefe) im Vergleich zu einer anorganischen Selenverbindung (Natriumselenit) der Selengehalt der Milch mit steigender Höhe der Selenzulage wesentlich stärker zunimmt. Daraus lässt sich ableiten, dass die Zufütterung von organischem Selen innerhalb futtermittelrechtlicher Grenzen einen wesentlichen Beitrag für die menschliche Ernährung leisten kann. In beiden Versuchsgruppen ist mit steigender Aufnahme von Selen ein Anstieg der Selenkonzentration in Blut (Plasma), Faeces und Harn fest-zustellen. Bei allen drei Parametern konnte ein signifikanter Unterschied zwischen den Versuchsperioden festgestellt werden. Ein signifikanter Einfluss der Selenquelle konnte nur bezüglich der Selenkonzentration in Blut (Plasma) und Faeces in Periode 2 statistisch abgesichert werden. Die T-Aufnahme, die Milchmenge und der Gehalt an Milchinhaltsstoffen lagen im physiologischen Bereich. Durch eine Selenzulage konnten bezüglich dieser Parameter keine signifikanten Unterschiede beobachtet werden. Es wurden keine negativen Effekte auf die Tiergesundheit beobachtet.

إنجليزي. To study the influence of selenium supplements on the selenium status in milk, blood (plasma), feces and urine of dairy cows a feeding trail was performed. Beside this the effect on feed intake, milk yield and milk composition was studied. The experiment was carried out with 30 lactating German Holstein cows. It was divided into three periods, with each period lasting 21 days. All cows received the same total mixed rations (25 % grass silage, 25 % corn silage, 50 % concentrate on a DM basis), which varied only in source and concentration of dietary selenium. The basal feed contained 0.1 mg of Se/kg DM. In period I no selenium was added. After this period the cows were divided into two groups of 15 animals each. For group 1 the source of selenium was sodium selenite (inorganic selenium, NaSe) and for group 2 the source was selenium yeast (organic selenium, SeMet). The supplement was added to the TMR and was 0.2 mg of Se/kg DM in period II and 0.4 mg of Se/kg DM in period III. Samples of milk, blood, feces and urine were taken at the end of each period. Feed intake and milk yield were measured each day, whereas the yield of milk compositions were analyzed twice a week. During period II the concentration of selenium in milk increased from 13.3 to 17.6 μg/l (sodium selenite) and from 13.9 to 26.4 μg/l (selenium yeast). When the supplemented selenium was increased to 0.4 mg/kg DM in period III the use of selenium yeast resulted in a higher milk selenium concentration of 54.8 μg/l compared with 19.7 μg/l for sodium selenite. The results show that the use of selenium yeast resulted in a significantly higher milk selenium concentration in comparison to the same amount of sodium selenite. They also show that the use of selenium yeast within the legal maximum could help to make milk a better selenium source. When the dietary selenium was increased the concentration of selenium in blood (plasma), urine and feces also increased. The source of selenium did significantly affect these parameters. When comparing selenium yeast and sodium selenite, the results show that the source of dietary selenium did only significantly affect the selenium concentration in plasma and feces in period II. There were no significant treatment effects for either source or level of selenium on feed intake, milk yield and milk composition. No adverse effects were determined on the cows’ health.
