Strength of the sorghum grain connection to the panicle in the phase of full ripeness on the example of variety 'Zernogradskoe 88' | Сила связи зерна сорго Зерноградское 88 с метелкой в фазе полной спелости

إنجليزي. To create and improve means of threshing panicle crops, in particular sorghum, data on physical and mechanical properties of kernels and panicles is needed. Theoretical calculations and modeling of the threshing process are essential before conducting full-scale experiments. The force required for breaking connection between kernel and panicle is a significant parameter when calculating both the parameters of the operating modes of the harvesting unit and the required strength of working elements. In the case of stripping, this refers to the strength of the stripping combs. The research purpose was to determine the force required for the separation of a lateral branch and kernel from a panicle of 'Zernogradskoe 88' sorghum. The research was carried out at the Agricultural research center "Donskoy" in 2023. The force required for the separation of the kernel and lateral branches from the sorghum panicle in the phase of full grain ripeness at moisture content of 12.3% was determined using laboratory installations equipped with digital compression-tension dynamometers "Megeon". Panicles were conventionally divided into three zones: lower (20% of the panicle length), central (60%) and upper (20%). It was also hypothesized that significant differences would be observed in the values of the force required for the kernel separation and the lateral branch located in different panicle zones. The force required for the separation of the lateral branch from the panicle was found to be 41.9 N, 24.5 N and 14.5 N for the lower, central and upper zones, respectively. The values of the force required for the separation of the lateral branch demonstrated considerable variation across all zones of the panicle. The force required for kernel separation from the panicle of 'Zernogradskoe 88' sorghum were 1.382 N, 1.191 N and 1.105 N for the lower, central and upper zones, respectively. Significant differences in the separation force were observed for kernel in the lower zone compared to the upper and central zones.

الروسية. При создании и совершенствовании средств обмолота метелочных культур, в частности сорго, необходимы данные о их физико-механических свойствах. Также это необходимо при теоретических расчетах и моделировании процесса обмолота до проведения натурных экспериментов. Усилие, необходимое для разрушения связи зерна с метелкой, является важным показателем при расчете как параметров режимов работы уборочного агрегата, так и необходимой прочности рабочих органов, а в случае очеса – прочности очесывающих гребенок. Цель исследований – определить усилие отрыва боковой ветви и зерновки от метелки сорго сорта Зерноградское 88 для дальнейшей модернизации конструкции очесывающей жатки. Исследования проведены в Аграрном научном центре "Донской" в 2023 г. На созданных лабораторных установках, оснащенных цифровыми динамометрами сжатия-растяжения "Мегеон", были определены усилия отрыва зерновки и боковой ветви от метелки сорго сорта Зерноградское 88 в фазе полной спелости зерна (влажностью 12,3%). Метелка условно была разделена на три зоны: нижнюю, центральную и верхнюю. Нижней и верхней зоне соответствовало по 20% длины метелки, а центральной – 60%. Также была выдвинута гипотеза о наличии существенных отличий в значениях усилия отрыва зерновки и боковой ветви, находящихся в разных зонах метелки. Усилия отрыва боковой ветви от метелки сорго сорта Зерноградское 88 составили для нижней, центральной и верхней зоны 41,9 Н, 24,5 Н и 14,5 Н соответственно. Значения усилия отрыва боковой ветви существенно отличаются во всех зонах метелки. Усилия отрыва зерновки от метелки сорго сорта Зерноградское 88 составило для нижней, центральной и верхней зоны 1,382 Н, 1,191 Н, 1,105 Н соответственно. При этом существенные отличия усилия отрыва наблюдали у зерновок в нижней зоне по сравнению с верхней и центральной.
