The nature of inheritance of quantitative traits In bee-pollinated cucumber hybrids

Data on the nature of inheritance of the main economically valuable traits and properties in short-fruited bee-pollinated cucumber hybrids during vegetation in film greenhouses (spring-summer and summer rotations) and open field (with out soport and on a trellis), depending on the genotype of the initial forms and growing conditions, are presented. It was found that the inheritance of the main useful features in all studied hybrid combinations took place mainly according to the type of positive overdominance. So in the spring-summer and summer rotations of film greenhouses, positive over-domination was observed, respectively, in 50 and 76% of hybrids in early yield; in 76 and 93% in total yield; in 66 and 93% in yield of standard fruits; in yield of gherkins of 5,1-7,0 cm fraction – in 75 and 96% hybrids of both 80 and 89% in the 7,1-9,0 cm fraction.
