Botrytis cinerea es uno de los patógenos más investigados en los últimos años, su amplio número de hospederos y las enormes pérdidas que generar principalmente en sistemas de producción de frutas, hortalizas y ornamentales. En esta monografía se mencionan las últimas investigaciones para este patógeno, enfocadas en el control biológico de enfermedades. La primera parte hace referencia al patógeno, sus características morfológicas y taxonomía. La segunda parte está focalizada en el control biológico de la enfermedad y por último el autor menciona la experiencia de estas herramientas en el sistema de producción de rosas.

This monograph mentions the latest research on this pathogen, focused on biological control of diseases. The first part refers to the pathogen, its morphological characteristics and taxonomy. The second part is focused on the biological control of the disease and finally the author mentions the experience of these tools in the rose production system.
