Evaluación de productos naturales para la producción de pollos broiler en la parroquia Juan Montalvo, cantón Latacunga.

Through this research, different natural products were evaluated for the production of Broiler chickens in Juan Montalvo parish of Latacunga Canton. To carry out this study, an experimental shed was established with 100 birds, distributed in 5 experimental units, each one subjected to four treatments with 5 respective repetitions, with the following variables to be determined, laboratory analysis of natural products, production parameters and cost benefit. The treatments consisted of: T0 (Base diet, control), T1 (Base diet), with a combination of 20% garlic and onion (Allium sativum and Allium cepa), T2 (Base diet), with 20% ginger extract (Zingiber officinale), and T3 (Base diet), with 20% extract of dulcamara (Kalanchoe expensenis-bonnieri). The results revealed that dulcamara has 17.01% fiber and 12.50% of protein. In the zootechnical parameters, Duncan's statistical analysis indicated that treatment T3 showed the best performance in terms of weight, with 3373.80 g, followed by T2 and T1, surpassing the control (T0). During the last week, weight gain was also led by T3 with dulcamara, reaching 875.00 g, followed by T2 and T1, again surpassing the T0 control. Regarding food consumption, it was observed that treatment T3 recorded the highest consumption, with 1134.26 g. In water consumption during the last week, an absence of variability was observed between all treatments, with a consumption of 2272.86 ml. Finally, it was found that the feed conversion was more efficient in the T3 treatment, with a value of 2.60, while the control T0 had a feed conversion of 3.45 and no mortalities were recorded. In terms of profitability, treatment T3 with dulcamara was the most profitable, with a profit margin of $0.24 cents. In conclusion, the results indicate that the administration of natural products positively influenced the productive variables of the birds, demonstrating its impact after its implementation in the drinking water of Broiler chickens, which helped to improve the production of Broiler chickens.

A través de la presente investigación se evaluaron diferentes productos naturales para la producción de pollos Broiler en la parroquia Juan Montalvo del Cantón Latacunga, para llevar a cabo este estudio, se estableció un galpón experimental con 100 aves, distribuidas en 5 unidades experimentales, cada una sometida a cuatro tratamientos con 5 repeticiones respectivas, con las siguientes variables a determinar, análisis de laboratorio de los productos naturales, parámetros de producción y beneficio costo. Los tratamientos consistieron en: T0 (Dieta base, control), T1 (Dieta base), con una combinación de ajo y cebolla al 20% (Allium sativum y Allium cepa), T2 (Dieta base), con 20% de extracto de jengibre (Zingiber officinale), y T3 (Dieta base), con 20% de extracto de dulcamara (Kalanchoe gastonis-bonnieri).Los resultados revelaron que la dulcamara posee un 17.01% de fibra y un 12.50% de proteína. En los parámetros zootécnicos, el análisis estadístico de Duncan indicó que el tratamiento T3 mostró el mejor desempeño en cuanto al peso, con 3373.80 g, seguido por T2 y T1, superando al control (T0). Durante la última semana, la ganancia de peso también fue liderada por T3 con dulcamara, alcanzando 875.00 g, seguido de T2 y T1, superando nuevamente el control T0. En cuanto al consumo de alimentos, se observó que el tratamiento T3 registró el mayor consumo, con 1134.26 g. En el consumo de agua durante la última semana, se observó una ausencia de variabilidad entre todos los tratamientos, con un consumo de 2272.86 ml. Finalmente, se encontró que la conversión alimenticia fue más eficiente en el tratamiento T3, con un valor de 2.60, mientras que el T0 control tuvo una conversión alimenticia de 3.45 y no se registraron mortalidades. En términos de rentabilidad, el tratamiento T3 con dulcamara fue el más rentable, con un margen de ganancia de $0.24 centavos. En conclusión, los resultados indican que la administración de productos naturales influyó positivamente en las variables productivas de las aves, demostrándose su impacto tras su implementación en el agua de bebida en pollos de engorde, que ayudó a mejorar la producción de pollos de engorde.
