Czynniki genetyczne i pozagenetyczne wpływające na umaszczenie psów domowych (Canis lupus familiaris)

تلميع. W niniejszym artykule przedstawiono wybrane zagadnienia związane z umaszczeniem psa domowego (Canis lupus familiaris), a także jego przodka – wilka oraz psów dzikich. Opisane zostały podstawowe informacje na temat pigmentacji ssaków, a także różnorodność fenotypowa dziko żyjących krewnych psa domowego. W formie tabel zebrano informacje dotyczące zidentyfikowanych genów warunkujących umaszczenie psa, zawarto opisy wybranych schorzeń mających wpływ na barwę okrywy włosowej, a także zebrano krótką listę alleli hipotetycznych i zarzuconych. Ponadto zawarto informację na temat wybranych maści o nieznanej podstawie genetycznej i innych mutacji spotykanych u psów domowych.

إنجليزي. This article presents selected topics related to the coat color of the domestic dog (Canis lupus familiaris), as well as its ancestor – the wolf and wild dogs. Basic information on the pigmentation of mammals is described, as well as the phenotypic diversity of wild relatives of the domestic dog. Information on the identified genes determining the dog’s coat color was collected in the form of tables, descriptions of selected diseases affecting the coat color, and a short list of hypothetical and abandoned alleles were also included. In addition, information on selected coat colors and patterns of unknown genetic basis and other mutations found in domestic dogs is included.
