Seoske žene i razvoj ruralnog turizma u AP Vojvodini

The relationship between changes in the position and roles of rural women in society, local rural community, household/family and rural tourism development, in the case of AP Vojvodina, is the basic theoretical and methodological framework of the dissertation. The main objective is to answer the question of how involvement of rural women in the field of women's rural entrepreneurship in tourism contributes changes in their lifestyles and their quality, but also in what way this same action affects local community and whole society. In the introduction and theoretical-methodological part, the leading views and problems regarding the sociological concepts of rurality, rural space, gender mainstreaming, women's rural entrepreneurship, rural tourism and the state in rural areas in AP Vojvodina are presented and structured. The research was organized and conducted as a qualitative one, using a combination of case and biographical methods. The empirical part of the paper is devoted to exploring the institutional aspect of support policies for the development of women's rural entrepreneurship in the territory of the Province, and to analyzing the results of in-depth discussions with rural women entrepreneurs in rural tourism. Conclusions regarding the impact of entrepreneurial engagement in rural tourism on the changing social roles and position of rural women have been drawn from rich empirical data representing their life histories. The concluding remarks suggest that there is a significant relationship between the analyzed relationship, but that the position and role of rural women entrepreneurs, in general and in rural tourism, remain burdened by a number of social, value, cultural, economic and political factors
