Conserving farm animal agrobiodiversity in Georgia by developing organic livestock farming.

The article describes the main opportunities for the development of organic livestock in Georgia, the existing natural resources and local endemic and indigenous breeds of farm animals, which can be used for responsible consumption of natural resources, guaranteed safety of food products, meeting the growing market demand for organic products, creation of additional jobs in rural areas, reduction of migration, development of agritourism and preservation of agrobiodiversity, because at the beginning of the 21st century, among many other problems, the world is facing the threat of reduction of biodiversity, which is a prerequisite for catastrophic destabilization of the biosphere and sharp deterioration of human living conditions.
