إنجليزي. Five species of Ungla Navás have been described for the Neotropical region, two of which are cited in Argentina, Ungla argentina (Navás) y Ungla binaria (Navás). In the present study, the external morphology of the immature stages of Ungla binaria is described and illustrated, providing details of the larval chaetotaxy. Data on the life cycle are given and two keys are included, one for the identification of larval stages of U. binaria and the other for larvae of the third stage of the two species found in Argentina.

Existen cinco especies descriptas de Ungla Navás para la región Neotropical, dos de ellas citadas para la Argentina, Ungla argentina (Navás) y Ungla binaria (Navás). En el presente trabajo se describe e ilustra la morfología de los estados inmaduros de Ungla binaria, con detalle de la quetotaxia larval. Se establecen datos de su ciclo biológico y se incluyen dos claves, una para la identificación de los estadios larvales de U. binaria y otra para las larvas del tercer estadio de las especies del género en la Argentina.
