La avicultura no formal, es una actividad que influye en la economía de las comunidades rurales en nuestro país ya que es utilizada para consumo y en la comercialización teniendo así una fuente de ingresos con bajos costos de producción.La finalidad de la investigación es identificar y cuantificar los principales NGI .Nemátodos Gastro Intestinales) que afectan a un grupo de pollos de la variedad Broiler, en la vereda Altamar, Municipio de La Calera, Cundinamarca y hacer una comparación de su incidencia en dos tipos diferentes de explotación: Intensivo y Extensivo, para así evidenciar el impacto negativo de éstos nemátodos y que tipo de explotación es la más susceptible a padecerlos.

The main purpose of the research is to identify and quantify the main GIN (Gastrointestinal Nematodes) affecting a group of Broiler chickens located in Altamar, municipality of La Calera, Cundinamarca, and make a comparison between two different types of farming (Intensive and Extensive) to find out which one has a bigger incidence to demonstrate the negative impact of these nematodes and which farming method is most susceptible to them.
