اظهر المزيد [+] اقل [-]This dataset includes site quality maps for 24 tree forest species (Pinus sylvestris, Pinus uncinata, Pinus pinea, Pinus halepensis, Pinus nigra, Pinus pinaster, Pinus canariensis, Pinus radiata, Abies alba, Juniperus thurifera, Quercus robur, Querus petraea, Quercus pyrenaica, Quercus faginea, Quercus ilex, Quercus suber, Populus nigra, Eucalyptus globulus, Eucalyptus camaldulensis, Fagus sylvatica, Castanea sativa, Quercus pubescens, Populus × canadensis, Betula alba) growing in Spain. We took advantage of the Third Spanish National Forest Inventory and the curve-guide method to adjust site form (dominant diameter-dominant height relationship) models for each species. Once fitted the models, we extrapolated the site quality maps using universal kriging techniques. The results are stored in one geopackage per species (.gpkg), which includes four levels of site quality (A= Alta [Height], B = Media-Alta [Medium-High], C = Media-Baja [Medium-Low], D = Baja [Low]).
