Bocashi and NPK fertilization on the production of fig tree cv. Black Mission | Bocashi y fertilización NPK afectan la producción de higuera cv. Black Mission

إنجليزي. Bocashi is an organic fertilizer supplying nutrients to the soil and to the plants. On the other hand, the Fig-fruit tree crop requires low nutrients. The goal of this research was to determine the optimum rates of Bocashi and NPK fertilization to obtain the highest growth and yield of fig trees; as well as studying their effect on the ion concentration in the soil solution. Three rates of bocashi (0, 5 and 10 kg plant-1) and five concentrations of NPK (0, 25, 50, 75 and 100%) were assessed; 15 treatments in total. The experimental design was fully randomized with factorial arrangement of 3x5, with three replicates. We assessed: final height, stalk diameter, aerial dry biomass, estimated yield and the concentration of NO3-, K+ and Ca2+ in the soil solution. The results showed that then the largest stalk diameter was obtained with the addition of 5 kg of bocashi at 50% inorganic fertilization, while dry biomass increased after adding bokashi and inorganic fertilization at 25% and 50%. Furthermore, the use of Bocashi did not influence ion concentration when larger amounts of fertilizer were added. Furthermore, the highest yield was obtained with 10 kg of bocashi and 25% fertilization. It can be concluded that applying bocashi can reduce fertilization by 75% in the first year of planting in fig crops.

الأسبانية؛ قشتالية. El bocashi es un abono orgánico que aporta nutrientes al suelo y a la planta. Por otro lado, la higuera es un frutal de bajo requerimiento nutrimental. El objetivo del estudio fue obtener la dosis optima entre bocashi y la fertilización con NPK que permita mayor crecimiento y rendimiento de la higuera, y su efecto en la concentración iones en la solución de suelo. Se evaluaron tres dosis bocashi (0, 5 y 10 kg planta-1) y cinco concentraciones de NPK (0, 25, 50, 75 y 100%), en total 15 tratamientos. El diseño experimental fue complemente al azar con arreglo factorial de 3 x 5, con tres repeticiones. Se evaluó: altura final, diámetro de tallo, biomasa seca área, rendimiento estimado, concentración de NO3-, K+ y Ca2+ en la solución de suelo. Los resultados mostraron que el mayor diámetro de tallo se presentó con la adición de 5 kg de bocashi con el 50% de la fertilización, mientras que, la biomasa seca se incrementó al adicionar bocashi y una fertilización al 25% y 50%. Además, el uso de bocashi no influyo en la concentración de iones cuando se adicionó mayor cantidad de fertilizante. Asimismo, el mayor rendimiento se obtuvo con 10 kg de bocashi y una fertilización al 25%. Se puede concluir que la aplicación del bocashi puede disminuir un 75% de la fertilización en el primer año de plantación en el cultivo de higo.
